Had a bit of a relief last night, turns out I can still do it after all. Don't know what stopped me, don't know why I've managed it again now, but I am very relieved. Hated the idea of having to start all over again. Didn't do it for long, for fear of jinxing it, but I had smooth spinning, with ample control of direction (still not perfect, but then I didn't expect it to be). I think that either tomorrow or a couple of days after, if I can keep this up, I'll get a glass and the foil one and hope.
